I’m hoping to get some help for the pants of a satyr outfit I’m trying to put together. I’ve never done this before and I’m stuck between two ideas.

I have this fake fur cloth and im thinking of cutting out the shapes to make the shorts. I have an idea to use a pair of shorts I already have as lining and sew the fur shapes onto the shorts. OR Scrap the shorts lining and just put the fur pieces together. I’ll be wearing black leggings for either idea. I’m also unsure of what stitch to use to put the pieces together.

Any help or guidance would be appreciated!
