I need some recommendations for a good mechanic in the Sacramento, CA area.

I purchased some RCF LCA bushing that I need to have installed on my IS500. This morning I took it to a mechanic who I thought was great based on prior identical work they have done on another IS350 of mine.

However, this time they tried telling me it would be 5 hours worth of labor time to do LCA bushings and an alignment ($1250). They stated the subframe needed to be dropped to change the bushings lol. Obviously, that isn’t true.

So, I figured I would ask on here because it seems like good mechanics are getting harder and harder to find.

I am in the process of switching to RCF LCA bushings and RCF front brakes, and that got me thinking about the possibility of RCF AVS shocks too.

Has anyone tried this yet? I am wondering if they would be a direct fit, and if so, would the AVS functionality remain intact?

I would love to have an option for a firmer ride that I could still control through the different drive modes. I think it would be a great fit with the bushings and the brakes too.
