My husband didn’t get me anything for my first Mother’s Day

He (m,28) works away from home. I (f,34) feel the least he could have done was send flowers.

Today he sends me a text wishing me a happy Mother’s Day etc.

Am I wrong to be annoyed with him?

Becoming a mom has been a really special part of my life. My first Mother’s Day is a big deal to me. All mother’s days should be a big deal in my eyes.

I am the one to plan for our moms on Mother’s Day every year. He doesn’t even think about it, zero effort.

We were having a conversation a few days ago when I mentioned what I had put together for our moms. He said “Mother’s Day is coming? That means I have to do something for you. When is Mother’s Day again?” And I jokingly said “a month from now” to which he replied “oh you’re always planning so far ahead, I’m opposite.” And then I said “it’s on Sunday.”

______
TL;DR: husband sent a text and that’s it

Someone hacked my email, replaced my autodeposit registration.

When I went to etransfer myself money from my business bank account to my personal bank account via my personal email address, the money was deposited into someone else's account. Upon investigation, I believe someone hacked my hotmail and then replaced the auto deposit registration. Sum of $1000 was sent to them.

I have in my junk mail, email showing the auto deposit registration was replaced. I never saw it because someone added a forwarding rule in my hotmail where any e-mails with the word Interac were sent to my junk and forwarded to them as well.

Bank has denied my claim so far.. I appealed and now am waiting again.

Here's what I'm wondering in the meantime...

I was sent an e transfer request to my business email, where the account that took my money is wanting to send me back the amount in full. I had turned my autodeposit off so it didn't automatically get deposited. I asked the bank and they told me not to accept.

Is it even possible for them to scam me further this way? Or is it genuinely the money being returned?

I have a bank account I don't really use.. I'm wondering if I should accept it into there because theres no funds in the account to be taken.
