My youngest brother just cleared his matriculation, alhamdulillah. We're from a remote village near Murree, and for his FSc we want to get him admitted into a good boarding college in the Rawalpindi/Islamabad area.
Since we're from a village background, the main priority for us isn't just academics ... it's discipline, structure, and a proper environment where a young kid can actually focus without distractions.
A few things we're looking for:
- Boarding facility (residential, not just day college)
- Strong FSc Pre-Medical or Pre-Engineering program
- Disciplined environment — proper hostel supervision, no nonsense
- Reasonable fee structure (we're a middle-class family)
Questions specifically:
- Which colleges have genuinely good hostel management?
-Are there any government-run or semi-government boarding colleges worth considering?
-What's the typical annual cost (tuition + boarding) we should budget for?
