I passed Class 12 this year, and I’m planning to seriously start preparing for UCEED 2027 from now.

I have a lot of genuine doubts, and I’d really appreciate honest guidance:

If I start my preparation seriously now, do I realistically have a good chance of getting into IIT through UCEED?

Am I eligible for UCEED 2027 based on passing Class 12 this year?

Is one full year of focused preparation enough for someone starting now?

How much does drawing skill matter compared to aptitude, creativity, and problem-solving?

Can someone from an average academic background still crack UCEED with disciplined preparation?

What are the biggest mistakes beginners make while preparing?

Should I focus more on sketching, design aptitude, previous year papers, or logical reasoning first?

Is coaching necessary, or can self-study genuinely be enough?

I’m feeling motivated, but also confused about whether I’m starting at the right time and using the right strategy.

I’d really appreciate brutally honest advice from people who’ve cleared UCEED or seriously prepared for it: What would you do if you were starting from scratch right now with IIT as the goal?
