Newish to container gardening

I am a veteran of in-ground tomato growing at my suburban house. I am down-sizing to an urban apartment. I made sure I got a unit with a balcony. I have grow bags and potting soil.

I got a couple of Rutger semi-determinants, initially put in 8" pots that have now transferred to the bags. I will be looking at some other varieties, although the season is getting on. Suggestions for good candidates welcome.

I had read about growing other things in the pots. Would legume seeds like snow peas help the tomato plants? Again, it's past time for spring planting but I can look to the fall and future years.

Selecting new mattress, needs are probably simple

I am currently moving from a house to an apartment. I have been using my current bed for over 20 years. It is a Simmons coil with a thin layer of foam, the kind of mattress you can flip over. It uses a box spring. No idea what the original firmness was. Given its age, no point in moving it and it's good to have sleeping ability while downsizing/moving.

At the apartment, I have been using a 20" inflatable I got for $60 bucks for a while, and really it's fine. But obviously not long term. So I'm kicking my butt to get this taken care of.

I am a big guy, 250+, side sleeper only. I sleep fairly hot. I feel like I would be fine with pretty basic mattresses. My thoughts are just to get a medium firm "bed in a box" for a reasonable price with a good trial period.

I don't want memory foam. I have not used a mattress with a significant amount of latex foam, seems like most hybrids have at least 2" or so. How big of deal is latex one way or the other? I kind of plan to get a quilted cotton topper.

I can get an Awara Essentials queen for $600, or Luxury for $800. Both 10" with 2" latex .Only difference listed is organic foam. The Premier is $1200 with 4" latex.

Any thoughts on this or other sort of suggestions in this realm? I looked at the Green Mattress Kiwi, seemed similar but more expensive.
