End of Jason. End of an era.

For those who don't know, Jason is really just a random person whose MQTT server was completely unsecured with no password, and I made a post a while ago showing how I had access to most of their devices. Just wanna say, but my post was a completely different person than the OG.

Every now and then, I connect to Jason's MQTT server to see if they have finally secured their server or not. Recently, when I tried to connect, I was met with a 401 Unauthorized Error. This means finally, after looping a script to turn on the lamp every 5 minutes and renaming all of his devices to "Secure your MQTT!!!", he listened.

So secure your mqtt servers I guess because i'm on the lookout...

For reference, I've paid for Plus for about 3 years now, and I use the Native macOS app. Whenever I attempt to write code or just generate normal responses, they are incredibly slow and sometimes just fail. I have 2 Gig Fiber internet and an M5 MacBook Pro; I really don't think this is a bottleneck issue. Is there some new priority stuff, or is it just me?

I've tried many ways to cast audio to my Google Nest Hub from Home Assistant, but Google Cast is very limited, apparently, for the Nest speakers with a screen. Whenever you cast audio through the Web UI, the speaker just becomes a media receiver and doesn't actually play the audio file on my local network so whenever I close it out to become a clock it just stops. Anyone else having this issue, and if you do, how did you fix it? I don't really want any sacrafices i'd rather keep the device and use it than do good casting
