He wants:
- Much better 4k gaming performance, particularly in WoW which can also be pretty cpu-intensive
- Less noise from the PC (but still a small-ish case)
- AIO / water cooler
- Smoother professional/multitasking work would be a bonus but not necessary
This is what I've put together following what he wants and the given budget (~€1500-€1600). It makes sense to me but I would also like to hear opinions / see if I've missed anything.
I'm also considering the 9070 XT, it would be decently significant savings (~€300 where I'm from), but my dad isn't into troubleshooting or fiddling with drivers and settings. Any potential issues with that would be a headache, combined with missing nvidia features, seems like a meh option.
Anything AM5 is out of the option. Who the hell is paying 400 euro for 32 gigs of ram?
The estimated wattage on pcpartpicker seems to hit quite close to capacity, showing 607W. Is this OK or would it not be advised?
