These are 2 of my latest oil paintings I’ve done. I’ve been trying to get into oils more. Any critiques on these paintings would be appreciated. I am also trying to get my art account alive again after some time but man it is so discouraging posting to no one. is it my art that is bad or is Instagram just out to get me? I just don’t know what I’m doing wrong.

How do I get the orange and the slices to look more realistic? I feel like the colours may be off. I mainly focus on landscape paintings in acrylic but I wanted to push myself and try something new and different. I am practicing using oils as a long time acrylic painter. This is about my 3rd time using oil paint so I guess I would be a newbie still. I am open to any feedback and suggestions. I want to learn and get better. Thanks.
