Stupid phone interview on a friday and you didn’t answer? fine with me.
Why the fuck is getting a job so hard? I was on indeed trying to find a job like anybody on indeed would do. i find this restaurant that's near my house, and l apply there. mind you, i've already applied to 10 other places during that period of time, and none of them got back to me. so after i applied, l immediately got a text message afterwards asking for a phone interview. i'm really good at talking on the phone, so l already knew l know i had this one in the bag. it was scheduled on a friday, so l had time to get myself together for this interview. fast forward to friday, and i was really hyped about this interview. i knew that l was going to get this job. i quickly went into my living room so i can talk to them on the phone, or so i thought because they literally didn’t answer. the time came on the interview and nobody called me. i looked at that phone like it owed me money. i called the restaurant, and they told me that i had to apply on a different site and that they weren’t even hiring to begin with. why the fuck do hiring mangers put their applications on indeed if they aren’t even hiring anybody?! this is exactly why i directly call the places i’m applying to and start begging them for a job. this is exactly why i hate some of these hiring mangers because unless you have a bachelors degree at flipping burgers, they’re gonna throw your application into the void while sending you an automated email on how they moved on with other candidates. question to the people who are employed, did you have to fuck the hiring manger in the ass to get that job!? because i swear to god if i get rejected from one more job, i will turn into Cassie from euphoria and sell all my cringey drawings i made in middle school and sell them for 50 dollars a picture. this shit is genuinely pissing me off
