Hi 🙂
I’m a 46-year-old Dutch guy, happily married and polyamorous for over a decade. My wife and I practice kitchen-table poly, so honesty, openness, good communication, and generally treating people like actual humans instead of collectibles is kind of our thing.
I’m looking for a woman somewhere around 32-50 for a connection that’s ideally romantic, flirty, emotionally close, and capable of growing naturally into a relationship over time. Geography matters less to me than chemistry, though Netherlands/Western Europe is probably easiest. Online connections are absolutely welcome too - some of the best connections start with “just talking.”
About me:
- calm, grounded, and somewhere between introvert and extrovert depending on whether people are exhausting that day
- fan of humor that occasionally hovers near the “should we really be joking about this?” line
- into movies and series, especially sci-fi and action
- PC gamer
- good at deep conversations, terrible at ending them at a reasonable hour
- emotionally available but still capable of laughing at dumb memes five minutes later
What I’m really hoping for is someone who genuinely enjoys talking - not just exchanging messages, but building something. The kind of connection where conversations can jump from “how was your day?” to existential nonsense, relationship dynamics, favorite spaceship designs, or why one random scene from a series still lives rent-free in your head years later.
I appreciate honesty, openness, emotional maturity, and someone who also helps keep the conversation alive. Mutual curiosity is attractive.
Also, because this apparently still needs saying on poly Reddit sometimes:
I’m not looking for someone to “join our relationship.” I already have a wonderful marriage. What I’m looking for is someone who’s interested in me as a person and wants to build our own connection together. If friendship with my wife ever naturally happens later, great - but it’s never expected.
If this resonates with you, send me a message 🙂
Bonus points if you can recommend a sci-fi series I somehow haven’t seen yet.
