I am currently a student in the last semester of my degree. After this semester I am beginning my career as a high school English teacher. My current laptop is literally ripped off the hinges and is finally dying on me.

I planned on waiting until the fall to buy a new computer but I need a new one to get through this semester.

I was looking at the Macbook neo, and it is in my price range. I know absolutely nothing about computers and was hoping someone could let me know if this is a good computer?

Any other suggestions are welcome too, preferably 1000 or less as its all I can afford!
