I just want to check that I have understood this correctly. In IF when Xaden is explaining to Violet about the rune that Colonel Mairi made for each of the marked ones. Xaden says they all held them in their hands at the execution. Did their marks appear as each one of their parents were executed by Codagh? Or did Navarre try to execute the children of the rebellion with dragon fire?

So is the reason that if more than 3 marked ones gather Melgren can't see the outcome due to natures balance? Or was in from the magic woven into the protection rune?
