Long story short I am using a pixel phone dialer with call recording on for the last 4-5 months, I was worry free as i had call recording on. Now I am in the middle of dispute without the most solid proof I thought I had.
First of all while recording dialer beeps or announce that call is being recorded.
That is not enough, when I tried to access mp3 files, I figured out that these recording files are not accessible.
When you try to find an old recording, it is also not possible as call log gets cleared after 500 calls.
When i tried exporting available call recordings
I cannot export in bulk
Exported audio has only my voice and does not contains what the second person said.
This now risked all my business transactions which I had recorded over call.
Now I am in the middle of a dispute, with only 10% recorded conversation, and risking my 1.7L INR ($1780) and hence no official record for any of my other risky conversations which I put on auto recording. (Risking another $6300)
If google did not want us to record the call they should have never published such a scam feature, i could have used a third party app for recording my calls.
PLEASE STOP USING CALL RECORDING FEATURE VIA GOOGLE DIALER
NOTE: If anyone has any idea how to recover the call recordings please share them in comments. (I already tried adb but it didn't help)
