Is there any point to complain?

I stopped going to local Asda regularly due simply to life changes so not sure how long it’s been going on but last two Thursdays I’ve watched staff walk past / ignore very obviously mouldy foods, and weirdly a dumped donut that was there for 4 hours (I went back 4 hours after first pop in and it was still there)

Totally puts me off going there for anything considered ‘fresh’

Is it worth complaining or feeding back to higher ups (store people just shrugged when I pointed out the watermelons) or is this just the way things are now?

Pictures show the watermelon display last Thursday and the lettuce this week - what’s not clear is the lettuces with rubbed away plastic wrap with brown /soggy bits.

I don’t think I’m being too fussy that damaged and mouldy items shouldn’t be the majority of items available or that staff ignore them but part of me thinks I should ignore and just shop elsewhere but that feels wrong too. 😖
