So my brothers pc will turn on but after a couple of seconds it’ll start to beep, 5 times for around 18 seconds then turn off and restart and do the same thing. I have taken the 5v battery out and left it 5 minutes and nothing. I then took out the ram and tried one at a time and again nothing. So I have then taken the cpu out and refitted it and applied fresh thermal paste and nothing. I think it’s the cpu at fault as there was no thermal paste to clean when I took the cooler of so I think that the CPU is burnt out but just looking for a second option, thanks in advance

So the issue with this is in the video. The pc will turn on and then after a couple of seconds it’ll beep 5 times within the space of 18 seconds. I have tried to take the ram out and only put one in then swap but nothing. Then tried to re sit the cpu and put new thermal paste on and again nothing. Also took the little 5v battery out for 5 mins and again nothing. I think the cpu is fried as there was no paste to clean of when I removed the cooler but could do with a hand with it.
