Hi all,

I'm an accountant on a graduate visa expiring January 2027. My employer is willing to sponsor me but has never done it before, so we'd be starting from scratch with SBS approval.

Company details:

• 3 employees including me (regional)
• public practice

My occupation is on the CSOL so that's fine. Main concerns are:

1. Has anyone been sponsored by a very small business successfully?
2. Realistic timeline from SBS application to visa grant?
3. I still have a WHM visa unused.. better to use that as backup or stay on bridging visa while waiting?

Any experiences or advice appreciated, thanks!
