Has anyone ever wished activewear tops had more flexibility for chest size, but without cups or wires? I've noticed that most sports bras and gym tops are just sized S/M/L, and as a 30G if you have a bigger chest you usually have to size up just to fit, which then makes the band loose or the support feel off. And if your chest is smaller, sometimes there's extra space where it doesn't sit right.
I've been thinking about starting an activewear brand where you choose a general band size (like XS-XL for your ribcage/body), and then separately choose a chest size (XS-XL) that just changes how much fabric allowance there is through the bust area - not cups, not wires, just extra or less fabric where it's needed so the top still feels like normal activewear. Not selling anything - just trying to understand if this is something people would actually want before going further. I What are your biggest frustrations with sports bras or activewear tops right now? would this be something that would help you guys ?
