bf annoyed I stay home from work after bad family event
over the weekend I spent some time with my parents and found out some really scary news about my dad and it’s been hard to deal with. I went to work yesterday but struggled to focus and today, I told my boss I was worried I couldn’t meet a deadline because of some personal stuff. he brought me into his office and I completely broke down. he was very comforting and told me to take the day off. well I came home and honestly just slept. when my bf got home he was visibly annoyed and I said “sorry i’ve been on another planet i’m disoriented” and he said “oh, you have a long shift? sleeping all day?”. I already felt really guilty about staying home but now I feel worse.
