Things were finally (seemingly) getting better, jokes on me
my second postpartum was rocky with mil she ignored“forgot” our only rule for baby which was ~no kissing~ she literally ignored on 8 occasions to the point she wasn’t allowed to hold baby.
she visited yesterday and things have been better but then today i was emptying my daughters “water cup” from yesterday and it was tinged orange. so i tasted it and it had this nasty vitamin taste. i made my husband ask her what it was because i thought it was just water - although my toddler kept saying ooh juice now i know why. I had so much rage when i realized. it was emergen-c and thankfully my daughter didn’t drink much but she never even asked me if it was okay to give to her, im so mad like i genuinely cannot trust this woman. I know this sounds small but it feels so big
edit: i was in the next room with my 6 month old so i was there just around the corner but feeding baby
