anyone know if F1 students are authorized to work here? do they give CPT? i've emailed them but haven't heard back. how safe would it be to onboard the projects and work on things (i'm curious about what they work on) but not formally complete any requirements needed for getting paid?

my friend and i (both female) are looking for a 3-month sublease in dogpatch, potrero hill, east mission, or soma from may 15 to august 15. move-in date flexible. max budget: $3.5-4k. any leads/suggestions on best places to look would be appreciated!
