RECAF is forecast to start its production test on the KW-1X well sometime in May.

KW-1X well has six hydrocarbon bearing zones, ranging in thickness from 45-75 metres in both the Elandshoek and Huttenburg formations, will test approximately 420 metres of hydrocarbon saturated section.

So, sounds like Naval ships are going to be put closer or in the Strait to force Iran to either let ships through (backing down) or attack the ships (escalation).

Look, not saying it isn't insiders betting, but.....

Of the 39 trillion debt, half or more was put into the military.

The U.S. military, despite its age showing, is still by far one of, if not the most, tactically capable militaries on the planet.

Of course the "success" rate is skewed more toward pulling off long shot outcomes. Delivering what people call the impossible is just a typical Tuesday for certain parts of the military.
