Is my shirt too tight? Can I pull off classic T-shirt look?

I’ve been trying to get into shape. I have high body fat percentage, and large stomach when I’m not sucking it in.
I’ve been working hard to try to look good and fit in a t-shirt for the summer.

Can I pull off wearing this tight of a shirt right now, or do I need to keep working a bit more to be able to pull it off??

How’s my form on the incline bench?

This is my first time using the smith machine. I love it cause I won’t kill myself trying to reach failure.

The problem is I’m not feeling it in my upper chest. I more so feel it in triceps. What am I doing wrong? Also I got 1 plate on each side. How much am I lifting here?

Still can’t feel my lats engage during lat pulldowns.

I have tried so many variations and taken so much advice and I still don’t feel it. I’m never sore the next day like with my other workouts

Why do my Triceps look different from each other?

My left tricep seems to have more definition than my right tricep. Could you guys tell me why that is? Or am I not working the right side as well as the left?

What is the name of the muscle showing on the left vs the right? Is it because I have better long head development on the left tricep??

Need help with lateral raises please. I feel them in my traps.

Everytime I do them I just feel a huge pump in my traps. Not so much in my side delts. Can you tell me what I’m doing wrong here?

Can I build a big upper chest from machine press and cable flies???

How does my form look? Am I flaring elbows too much? This is the only workout in the entire gym that I can really feel my upper chest working. I feel a big stretch, I feel the pump, and I can really feel it fully activating. My triceps get pushed pretty hard too.

I usually do 3-4 sets of 8-10 reps. Last set will be to failure. I will then hop on the cable flies. This is what I found really activates my chest. I’ve tried the peck deck, regular bench etc, and I just don’t feel my upper chest working.

Can I build a solid chest with just these 2 exercises?

Where do I go from here?

37 years old
5’8 160lbs

BF is 25 plus. According to dexa scan.
I only have 110lbs lean body mass. Shit load of fat stored in mid section that I’m sucking in.

Right now I’ve been eating at maintenance calories
Around 2000 calories 160g protein, 200g or so of carbs, 75 or so grams of fat.

I work out 4-5 days a week. PPL program

What should I do? Continue to try to recomp? bulk? Or cut? ChatGPT says not to bulk because I will gain excess fat based on my dexa scan. It analyzed it and told me do not bulk. It said to cut first. But I have very little muscle to be cutting. I’m gonna be so small.

What do y’all think?

Thoughts on the fit of this shirt on me??

Hi all
So I’ve been working out hard for the last 4-5months trying to build a body that looks decent in a t shirt for the summer time. Can I have yalls honest opinion on this shirt, and how it fits me? Have I built enough muscle to pull this off? Do I look to skinny/fat? Should I go a size up?

I’m always so self conscious about my body. When I take photos in the right lighting I look more muscular and more toned, but then I see myself in regular lighting and there’s no definition, and I actually look small. It messes with me mentally. I feel like I’m just tricking myself into seeing progress, and I feel like everyone else can see the “real” physique. Anyone else experience this? These photos were taken all around the same time. But the harsher lighting reveals my true body. It’s rough…

I can do full range of motion for about 6-7 reps, and then I cannot complete the full range. However, those last 3-4 half reps I can really feel the burn and pump even though they are only half reps, I do go to failure. Should I continue doing them like this? Or drop the weight some?

I’m 37 years old and feeling discouraged. I see so many guys on Instagram with ripped bodies and claim they’ve only been lifting for a year. They must be on steroids. So how long does it really take a true natty to gain the same results.

I’m 5’8 160lbs skinny fat; and busting my ass in the gym. I’m tracking macros and meal prepping. I am strict on my diet and workout hard to failure in the gym most sets.

I see verrrry little results if any. Can some natty guys chime in and tell me how long it actually took you to get the body that you want?
