A mourning Dove started a nest in my garage on top of the garage door motor unit the device that sits above my car in my garage that controls the doors that opens and closes. It was in the mid stages and very messy. I checked to make sure that there were not any eggs in the nest before I removed the nest;not a safe spot due to it. I put a few pieces of unlevel Styrofoam in the area that they began to build to make it unstable so that they will find a new spot. I cleaned it up. That was yesterday, Today, Mom and Dad birdies are back, moved the pieces that I put up there and tried to begin the nest again. I feel bad moving their nest, but it’s not a safe spot for them the garage is small. I’m driving in and out daily. I thought to put something in the back wall and one of my high shelves which I’m surprised they didn’t go to to begin with to give them a space. Any advice on how to handle this?
