So last month I went a little overboard and while deciding to start using Vit C serum and retinol, I ended up buying a crap load of products from The Ordinary and now I don’t know how to best use them.

Me: late 40’s, biggest issue was dullness, 11’s and sagging neck and jowls.

I was using:

am: vit c and sunscreen

pm:

Argiriline

Matrixyl

Niacinamide

Caffeine Eye Serum

and every other night their .2% retinol

Their light HA moisturizer

In one month my face has gotten more color, has smoothed out and pores have decreased. I think the Matrixyl and Niacinamide have been great, though I don’t know which works better for smoothing out my face

I still want to address the 11’s since the argiriline seems useless, crepey neck skin and some wrinkles around my eyes when I smile. Jowls would be great, too.

With their recent sale I additionally purchased:

Volufiline

Growth Factors 15%

Higher concentration of retinol .5%

moisturizer with phytoceramides

and reorder of vit c, matrixyl and niacinamide

I have no idea how to incorporate these while still using the other products.

So I’ve had a tendency towards damp that worsened after moving to a very damp place this past winter. I got frequent respiratory infections that seemed to never clear and I’ve had what feels like chest congestion for many years. I’m very active, but drank dairy with coffee, ate chips and sweets which all contributed to the dampness.

This month I decided to drastically change my diet. I dropped my caloric intake very low, lost quite a bit of weight for my size and stopped snacking and eating dairy; basically had a very clean diet with a couple meals daily.

I feel fine and the numbness I’ve had in my arm while sleeping for the past 4 years has disappeared. What has changed is that I seem to have a lot of phlegm in the back of my nose and throat. I’ll blow my nose in the morning and it’s as if I have an upper respiratory infection with what comes out. It’s all very loose and I don’t feel sick. It seems to be correlated with my change in eating habits.

Does anyone know if dampness (and heat due to color of mucus) can be released from the lung with dietary changes and overall reduction of damp factors?
