Hi! We’re flying into Savannah next week for the first time. We want to do a bit of kayaking over the 5 days that we’re there. Is there some way to avoid paying $50/person per day for kayak rentals? I’d love to find two singles or a tandem that we could rent for a few days.

Additionally, we’re going to kayak Ebenezer Creek but I have no experience with gators. I read that they generally avoid kayakers but I’m concerned that they might be more aggressive during mating season. Do I need to be concerned? How do I avoid them? Where do they nest? We don’t plan to go with a guide - maybe we should?
