I'm currently writing sheet music for a band in which a guitar plays. I understand the basics of the guitar and have written the chord symbols and tablature for the guitar, but I also wanted to write it in treble clef notation. My question is this: When the guitar has a capo, do I write notation in concert pitch, or the notes that would fit the chords they're playing? I've seen examples of both online, so is it just a personal preference for the guitarist?
