Just done the washing up whilst staying in a holiday rental and it's got me wondering whether the previous people staying here put any effort into washing it properly.

If you let out a holiday home or are a cleaner for holiday apartments, do they get washed at the end of someone's stay?

I'm now thinking that I should be washing everything before use but I'm on holiday and that's an extra chore I don't need on day 1.

I'm in Berkshire and this weekend is typically sunny however the forecast for this weekend has been grim. It currently shows cloud here while I chill in the sun.

I have friends in areas where the live met office shows rain but they have the same weather as me.

So, how's the weather? Where are you? How does it compare to the forecast?

ETA: raining in East Devon already! Standby folks.

Get the BBQs lit asap and don't forget the washing

If so, where and why?

Someone called me weird for sitting on the floor by my backdoor when it's sunny but windy outside. I don't have a comfy chair to easily move there and this is easy.

Just got me thinking about when else I sit on the floor and if others ever do it.

Other examples:

Eating dinner at the coffee table.

Watching TV with the sofa as a backrest.

Puzzles.
