Buying a used '23 from a dealer. I asked what the "dealer installed" extras were, adding up to about $1700. They said their "security system" was mandatory in case someone skipped payments. We aren't dealer financing, and couldn't they disable and locate the car using OnStar?

We're likely buying a Chevy Bolt in the next couple weeks, and we hate dealer service. Looking for an independent mechanic who likely specializes in EV's. Bonus points if they do cheap pre-sale inspections.
