Anyone have an idea if the Exedy OE replacement clutch is the exact same as the oe part from Subaru. I know the Subaru clutches are Exedy.

I recently posted regarding a grinding sound I am getting since having the clutch installed. My mechanic suggested it could potentially be the flywheel.

Exedy techs said that they are exactly the same but I thought i'd get a second opinion on that as I understand some flywheels have rubber dampening that would help with the extra sound/NVH.
