Alright, so I'm a little overwhelmed with all the options.
Needs right now are: cables in the rooms for gaming, good wifi coverage through out the house, put just for the tv, ipads and phones. Potentially 1-3 cameras in the future would be of interest.
On the floorplan I will have wall-mounted ethernet sockets (yellow circles) and on the purple marking I want to put up a POE AP (I'm guessing Wifi 6 is fine) - all this is cabled in the attic to the red marking on the right hand side of the image.
And this is where I run into my "issue" because I get a bit overwhelmed with the all products. Is it correct that I need a Cloud Gateway and a Switch here?
For now it seems the UCG Ultra and a Lite 8 PoE switch covers my needs - the 4 wall mounted will go into the non-poe ports and the AP will go into the PoE port and then I have 3 spares.
Do I need to make an AP in the right hand side of the house as well or do the gateway+switch provide wifi coverage in that area?
Any thoughts or things I misunderstood?
