My son recently got his report card back and it looks like little Jeb Jr is going to kom 7th grade. I wanted to buy him a new mountain bice since he goes to Talladega middle school, and we really have been trying to ingrain the “if you ain’t first you’re last” mentality. The problem is that all the other homeowners in the neighborhood have been bitchin about how fast and loud little Jeb jr is when he’s ripping up the local segments. I don’t get it? All the other kids have surron e-bices and nobody bats an eye at them rippin and runnin through the backyards. I think they are just hating because when they open up Strava all they see is Jeb jr took your kom, or “you are no longer the local legend for trailer ave”. People also seem angry at us whenever I take him to the local downhill park saying stuff to the tune of “yOu CaN’t RiDe ThAt HeRe”…Does anybody have any experience when dealing with jealous neighbors and angry locals?
