im sick and tired of the word "شمكار"

so basically, a classmate of mine was doing some sort of s$elf harm during the class, and when my friend told me she was so chill about it, i talked to my mom abt this and she said "3la chmkar".

are we just going to ignore how dangerous this thing is and label it like that? i hate to generilize but most of the people i meet are so indifferent when it comes to sm,traumas, etc..

i dont know if most of the moroccan society is like this but i think so.or maybe im just over reacting, but, worth to mention, that this person also smokes and do some sort of things that clearly shows that they are experiencing/going through a lot..

but no one seems to care ofc
