Partner visa evidence document for long-distance married couple
Hi everyone
I am a PR holder and moving to Australia next month. I live in Singapore and my spouse is based in Indonesia.
We met in 2023 overseas, we have been in a long-distance relationship since then. We got legally married March this year (no wedding, just a small civil marriage ceremony with direct family), but still we do not live together.
Since Singapore and Indonesia is so close, we met each other every month, and in total we lived together for total 8+ months over 2.5 years.
Followings are documents that I am preparing. And we do not have any joint account or anything legal except for marriage certificate.
I am not sure if this would suffice, especially around household and commitment.
For household, since we have not "officially" lived together there's nothing much to prove such as rent agreement, utilities, bills, etc. For commitment, it is very difficult to show "prove", not our thoughts or plans.
Any advice? what should I add?

- Joint statement regrading future plans (detailed plans for settling down in Aus)
- Record of contact while apart (WhatsApp message captures + phone call history records + video call screenshots)
- Finance
- Joint statement including evidence of regular money transfer ($1000 a month on average + 12K medical expense borne by the partner)
- Social
- Relationship history including the following:
- Social events (mainly travel to each other, etc.) by month/year
- Photo together + travel ticket (almost every month) attached for each social event
- Photo taken with each other’s family - including on marriage day + after marriage
- Record of join friends and social networks
- 46 mutual friends on Instagram
- Several photos taken with each other’s friends
- Relationship history including the following:
- Household
- Statement regarding housework responsibilities (narrative + some photos)
- Cohabitation timeline (total 8 months of living together across 2 and a half years, despite being in a long distance. We tried to spend time together whenever possible)
