I want to read a historical fiction book if you guys have any recommendations. I really enjoyed Sound of Waves by Yukio Mishima (May not be considered historical fiction but it’s set in the past). I liked how it had wholesome romance that was a major part of the story with intimate moments and wanted to know if you guys have any recommendations. I’m fine with any time settings but the World Wars isn’t my favorite. Also no affairs or infidelity at all.

Hello I’m an intermediate to early advanced pianist but that might be a stretch to say advanced 😅. The hardest and most recent song I’ve learned is Liebesträume No. 3 and I managed the cadenzas and voicing pretty well, I learnt it by myself and my teacher just helped to clean it up. I want to learn something technically harder since my teacher says my emotion and voicing is pretty good. Do you guys have any recommendations of pieces that aren’t too much harder but will challenge me and make me a better player?
