Cascadia CM200DZ and Tamagawa 1 Pole Resolver Issues

Hey everyone, we are a first year EV team running a cascadia cm200dz with an emrax 228 mv, and are running into issues with the inverter/resolver. We are currently using the Tamagawa 1 Pole Resolver.

we have validated that our high voltage (450V-600V) battery successfully completes the precharge cycle. we also manage to get the inverter to VSM 4, then we send the enable and we go to VSM 5. but the moment we get to VSM 6, we see a huge transient on the low voltage rail which causes our bms to briefly lose power, resetting our contactors.

has anyone experienced anything similar? we are requesting non-zero torque as we saw posts saying that it causes the pid to go wack. we have also tried putting the inverter on a separate supply (albeit with the grounds tied together for CAN comms) but see the same behavior. We do have a 5 pole on the way, but is there anything else we can try in the meantime? any help is appreciated!
