Honestly, I’m just coming here because I’m so lonely in this and I need to know I’m not the only one. After seeing a million specialists, ERs, and urgent cares, and being told I was "fine" or that it was just my Endo, I finally got my diagnostics back last week.
Turns out I have an 83% compressed iliac vein, 60% renal vein, and pelvic varicose veins literally everywhere. The medical trauma is just... unreal. I was literally begging doctors to look for May-Thurner and they acted like I was crazy.
The fact that so many of us are walking around in this much pain with no idea why makes me so sick. I want to spread awareness so bad because nobody seems to know how to diagnose or treat this stuff.
I’d love to hear from anyone else going through this:
• What does your pain actually feel like?
• Can you even work? How does this impact your life?
• Do you have any support, or are you doing this alone?
• For those who had procedures: Did you go with a stent, coils, or an auto transplant? What were your percentages?
I really just need some friends who get it. This journey is exhausting and I’m tired of doing it by myself. 🤍
