Hi everyone,

I have a 7-hour layover at Zayed International Airport.

I’m an Indian passport holder and may not qualify for a transit/tourist visa due to the layover being under 8 hours.

My friend is a UAE resident (not travelling). We want to meet during my layover.

My question: Is it possible for a UAE resident to enter the airport terminal without a boarding pass just to meet an arriving passenger?

Any recent experiences or clarification on how strict this is would really help.
