The last handful of times I’ve taken my kid to the park (the big wooden one on CM Allen) there have been multiple school buses there. It’s always elementary aged kids seemingly having lunch at the picnic tables scattered around the park. The first time I thought it was a one-off field trip thing, but this is the 3rd day in 1.5 weeks we’ve pulled up midday to multiple buses. Is this a thing now? Elementary schools taking kids to the park for lunch on a regular basis? I grew up here and never did any such thing lol
