Picking up my first bike tomorrow, have to ride 2h highway otherwise it would be 6hours on small roads, dont have the time sadly.

Any advice for my first time on the big street?

Quick Update, I am from Europe so my experience after driving school is solid (14hours). The bike is a 2024 Honda CB500x with about 5k Kilometers on it, thank you all the advice
