This is my boy. He's 3 years old now. When I first got him, I was under tremendous pressure with my job, and I was not a good fur father. I regret it every day, but once those jobs ended, he became the center of my and my husband's world. I think (hope/pray) he knows how much he is loved. We have made every effort to include him in every activity.

People stop me on the street every single day to tell me how cute he is. He loves people and he brings joy to everyone, especially me and my husband.

I wish I could go back and start again; I would have quit those stupid jobs. I've learned a lot about being a fur father, and I'm still learning. Dandy has made our lives better. Waking up and seeing him reach out his paw to me, and give me a kiss and roll over for tummy rubs -- there is nothing better.

I'm a better person than I was. My job from here on out is to ensure that each day of his life is filled with food, love, comfort, safety, and happiness. I love you, Dandy boy.
