Is it possible to have a voice suited only for one specific style of music ?

I've been producing songs for a long time, in many different genres because I like variety but I've noticed something.

I only like my voice for jazz ballad, piano and voice type of music.

It sounds out of place on top of my pop, rnb and hyperpop compositions.

I'm considering asking someone else to sing over those because I already have a lot of finished songs, chords, melodies, lyrics,.. but my voice does not sound good on top of it.

Maybe it's a type of voice thing ? I have a deep raspy voice and you only hear tenor usually in those kinds of music

My old Yamaha p125 has served me well, but is now broken beyond repair.

I want to upgrade it and was considering a nord but they are so expensive, so I was wondering if there are other alternatives like a very good midi controller with weighted keys that plays plugins.

I loved the fact that I was able to play piano without turning on the pc but yeah, there are so many wonderful piano emulations for so much cheaper !

What is your thought on the subject ?
