There was this movie about a group of vietnamese or philipine peasants that were being led by a military man through a jungle and they were avoiding or scaping enemies, there was this scene where they come across trees and one of them takes one leaf to whistle with it and in return he leaves money hanging in the same branch the took it from at the end theres a confrontation and the military man gets shoot allowing the others to scape.

I would say its from before 2010 and maybe even before 2005, thats arround the time i saw it on tv on a cinephile section. It was subbed.
