Resume Summary or not?

For a bit of time as I apply to jobs, I'm constantly reworking my resume due to ATS, but I never included a summary. I've kinda played with adding one and have an opportunity to add one now. My main reason for not having one was due to having my current resume read as full-time> freelance > freelance > Intern, with two other internships being left off due to spacing. If I add a summary, it goes full-time> freelance > freelance, with the last freelance and internships start dates being a month apart.

I was wondering what opinions are on resume summaries from more experienced people. I should note I am very much entry level at 25 years old, so through FT, freelance, Interns, and Volunteer, I have about 3-4 YOE.

Looking for as much help as I can get for my resume. Within the last month I’ve been a finalist (once the final two and the other the final five) and been passed over twice, and I’ve noticed my weekly interviews slowly dwindling.
