Door Issues?
New Owner of R1S Dual AWD Gen 2; Inspired by Elon to trade in my Tesla.
So far love the vehicle, except sound system is lacking. Also hope to get a service center on the Monterey Peninsula soon; driving to San Jose means taking a day off work.
Here’s are some minor door issues I have questions about:
I’m experiencing a creak/rattle coming from the area between the driver door and the side edge of the dashboard. The two surfaces appear extremely close and may be contacting each other while driving. If I place the edge of my finger between them, the noise immediately stops and I can feel vibration transfer from the door. I do not notice the same condition on the passenger side. Is this a door adjustment issue or dash related?
I’ve also noticed that both rear side doors require noticeably more force to close compared to the driver and front passenger doors. Please confirm whether this is normal or if the rear doors may need adjustment/alignment.
