Not sure if this type of post is allowed here so please remove if not! Just want to hear opinions. Long story short my boyfriend (40M) gets mean and rude if he drinks too much. Says mean things to me and then doesn’t remember saying them. This is the second time it’s happened and he says he is just going to stop drinking. But like is it really that easy? I’m scared of wasting my time if he stays sober for a year or something and then what happens if he decides to drink again and is mean again? I never thought I’d be in this position so I am just having a hard time.
