on the right corner of Kedzie and Beach ave west side of humboldt park. great location just across the park, decent price. 1,600 for 2 beds. windows have for rent signs. landlord is old ukrainian man named Walter. no care for the building. its literally crumbling on the outside and the whole building is at a crazy slant. hallway smells of mildew and mold. never been cleaned even though its carpeted. leaks. rodents. ants. wasps. pipe bursts in dead of winter. water shut offs for long periods of time with zero communication. no maintenance man. don’t have a copy of lease after asking for months for our own copy. he will trap you in 40 minutes conversations of just word salad. he’s truly only half conscious because of his medication.
