Just where you would expect a peak, almost all 64 Audio IEMs have a dip. Their dip right at 3k is definetely intentional and part of their "house sound".
So from a graph sniffer perspective, they actively put effort in making the timbre IEMs less neutral ("worse") at a particularly sensitive spot when it comes to timbre.
Personally, I only heard the Aspire 3 on an audio show. At least I can say that it didnt turn me off. I would have needed more time to check if I enjoy it or not.
- What are your thoughts about this?
- How do you perceive the 64 Audio upper midrange timbre? What effects does this dip have when it comes to the overall sound?
- What are your thought about such "house sound" tweaks in general?
