My orbit seems to be occupied by people who do a bunch of takeout or leverage precooked food/meal delivery or others who seem like every meal is a whole culinary adventure, complete with a link to some NYT recipe - literally they shop for recipes, not staples.
I'm wondering if there is still a team "regular meals". You just buy some shit at the store and figure out how you'll use it the day you defrost it? You make the typical 3 part plate like roasted chicken legs, baked potato and sautéed green beans, homemade meatballs, jarred sauce and pasta, etc.
None of my social circle seems to ever serve the 3-part plate and I'm wondering who has time for all this recipe based cooking?
