Will Polyphony react to Forza Horizon, do you think?
I know we have this discussion every time a major racing game comes out, and the consensus is usually "no, PD don't care what anyone else is doing".
But FH6 (more specifically, FH being in Japan) feels different - for the first time, another AAA studio is making the case that they are the home for Japanese car culture, that they are the home of the kei car and the import tuner and the Skyline. I can see why PD might feel threatened by this one when they wouldn't for other games, it's a lot closer to their base identity.
What do you all think?
